4. Improper application of water and fertilizer
In the later stage of fruit setting, that is, 10 days before the market, no special drought, no watering, watering will significantly reduce the sweetness of cantaloupes. Muskmelon growth should pay special attention to increasing potassium fertilizer, potassium fertilizer has a significant role in improving the quality of melon. To control nitrogen fertilizer, excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer will not only reduce melon sweetness, but also cause excessive accumulation of nitrite, which is harmful to human body.
