The fertilization of ginger is divided into base fertilizer and top dressing. The base fertilizer is divided into organic fertilizer, cake fertilizer and fertilizer. The organic fertilizer is applied in combination with the ground before planting. Generally, the high-quality decomposed chicken manure is applied for 5 to 8 square meters per mu, and the rotary fertilizer is applied after the application; the cake fertilizer and the fertilizer are concentrated in the ditch, that is, the crushed cake fertilizer and fertilizer are concentratedly applied to the seeding ditch before sowing. In general, 75-100 kg of cake fertilizer per acre, 50 kg of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer or 25 kg of urea, superphosphate and potassium sulfate.



In addition to the application of the base fertilizer, generally three times of topdressing:



The first time chasing "strong seedling fertilizer": the first top dressing is carried out when the seedling height is about 30 cm and there are 1 or 2 branches. This time, the topdressing fertilizer is mainly based on nitrogen fertilizer, and 20 kg of ammonium sulfate can be applied per mu. If the sowing date is too early, the seedling period is longer, and it can be fertilized 2 to 3 times with the watering, and the amount of fertilization is the same as above.



The second time chasing "turning fat": before and after the beginning of autumn, this is the turning point of ginger growth, and it is also the turning point of absorbing nutrients. Since then, plant growth has accelerated, and a large amount of nutrients have accumulated to form product organs. Therefore, the demand for fertilizer and water The amount increases. In order to ensure the high yield of ginger, we used the Jiangtian weeding before and after the fall, and carried out the second top dressing. 70-80 kg of crushed cake fertilizer per mu, 3 to 4 squares of decomposed chicken manure, 50-100 kg of compound fertilizer, or 20 kg of urea, 30 kg of diammonium phosphate, 50 kg of potassium sulfate, one side of ginger seedlings Open a fertilization ditch at the base of the plant 15 cm, spread the fertilizer into the ditch, mix it with the soil, then cover the soil, seal the soil, and finally pour the water.



The third time chasing "Zhuang Jiangfei": In the first ten days of September, when the ginger seedlings have 6-8 branches, it is also the period of rapid expansion of the rhizome, which can be used for the third top dressing according to the growth of the plant, called "strong ginger fertilizer. ". Generally, 25 to 30 kg of compound fertilizer or 2.5 kg of ammonium sulfate and potassium sulfate are applied per mu. For ginger fields with high soil fertility and strong plant growth, less or no nitrogen fertilizer should be applied to prevent stems and leaves from growing and affecting nutrient accumulation.



Zinc and boron fertilizers can usually be used as base fertilizer or top dressing. In the case of zinc-deficient and boron-deficient ginger, generally apply 1~2 kg of zinc sulfate and 0.5-1 kg of borax per acre, and mix it evenly with fine soil or organic fertilizer. When planting, apply it in the seeding ditch and mix with the soil; For topdressing and foliar application, 0.05% to 0.1% borax may be used in an amount of 50 to 70 liters per mu, respectively, in the seedling stage, the hair growth stage, and the rhizome expansion period, or 800 grams per gram of zinc per house. , Mai Kefeng large granular boron 200 grams, federal potassium 4000 grams, both increased production and can prevent ginger rickets.
